Free AP Exam Score-Send Deadline—June 20

Every year that you take AP Exams, you can send one score report for free to the college, university, or scholarship organization of your choice. Score reports include both this year’s and past AP Exam scores.

If you’re heading to college in the fall, using your free score send is the best way to make sure your college gets your scores in time to award you credit and/or placement. And if you’re a high school junior, sophomore, or freshman, using your free score send can help you stand out to the college you send your scores to—it shows the college your early interest.

Be sure to activate your free score send by the June 20 deadline:

No-cost student therapy & counseling program from Duval County Public Schools

Is your child having a hard time at home or at school? Concerned about your child or teen's well-being? You're not alone. 76% of parents share your worries.

Did you know? Through Paxon School-Advanced Studies’s partnership with Hazel Health, your child can access 1-on-1 virtual counseling sessions with licensed therapists.

What happens in each therapy session? The therapist provides a safe and supportive space for your child to work through their feelings. Together, they will develop the tools to overcome challenges and achieve goals like better communication, confidence, coping skills, and stronger relationships with both family and friends. The skills they learn will help them succeed in school and in life.

How much will it cost me? $0 — all services from Hazel are fully covered, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for families! 👏

Results that speak for themselves: A clinical study by Clemson University found that over 75% of participants in Hazel’s teletherapy program experienced significant reductions in symptoms of anxiety and depression within 6 weeks.

Scholarships for High School Juniors

UF Mock Trial - Summer in the Swamp

My name is Esha Bhat and I am the president of the University of Florida's undergraduate Mock Trial team, known as the "LitiGators." This summer, we will be hosting our 4th annual "Summer in the Swamp," a virtual Mock Trial Camp for high school students. This year's Summer in the Swamp session will take place via Zoom on August 3rd, and 4th, 2024.

The event is open to rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent high school graduates. This program may be beneficial to students interested in business, theater, law, and improving their overall confidence and eloquence in public speaking.

With the help of faculty advisors and local attorneys, The LitiGators are currently ranked in the top 15 in the nation and have maintained an extensive winning record—which most recently included ranking 7th place at the National Championship Tournament in Chicago in 2024. As an organization, the LitiGators believe that the skills fostered through participation in competitive Mock Trial are invaluable. That is why, this summer, we are focusing on providing a skill-building, educational experience for high school students. Summer in the Swamp is designed for all skill levels and no prior mock trial experience is required to participate. Over the course of this two-day intensive program, students will work with nationally-ranked competitors, UF Faculty, and local attorneys through a series of workshops where they will learn and practice every facet of mock trial. Students will even have the opportunity to work on a college-level case which they will compete with on the final day of Summer in the Swamp.

While a virtual format is not ideal, Summer in the Swamp will focus on developing skills that can be implemented both virtually and in person. In addition, the virtual format not only makes the program accessible to more students across the nation, but it also allows participants to expand their potential pre-professional network by meeting and competing alongside students from across the country.

The registration fee will be $35 per student. This fee covers the entire cost of attendance. Need-based waivers are available upon request.

You can pay online directly to the Mock Trial Fund here.

If you would prefer to pay by check, simply send your check made payable to “UF Foundation to

UF CLAS Development,

PO Box 117300

Gainesville, FL 32611

With “Mock Trial Fund” referenced in the memo line.

Please note, students must send payment AND reserve a spot at Summer in the Swamp online at https://forms.gle/bFe1PN8Sr6KH3YePA. Spots fill up quickly, so please reserve as soon as possible.

We’d love to share this enriching opportunity with students at your high school. If you have any questions, please contact ufsummerintheswamp@gmail.com. We hope to hear back from you soon!

Thank you and Go Gators!

SAT Registration Is Open for August 2024–June 2025

SAT registration is open for the 2024-25 testing year. Many colleges consider SAT scores as part of their holistic admission and placement decisions, and your score is a valid way to show what you've learned. Most juniors take their first SAT in the spring, and many take it again in the fall of their senior year to improve their score. It can help you keep your college options open, demonstrate your unique strengths, and even qualify for scholarships.

Upcoming 2024-25 SAT Dates
