1). UNF's Summer Explore Program! (for current juniors and sophomores)
The application for UNF's Explore Program is now available! The Explore Program's UNF Summer experience allows students to spend one night on UNF's campus while attending a two-day college experience. The 2022 Explore Program is scheduled for 7/15-7/16/22. ALL students will have to apply, including write a short essay. The two-day event is completely free for the students!

2). SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Emerging Stars Scholarship Essay Competition-Application Deadline May 6, 2022
The Women of Color Cultural Foundation, Incorporated (WOCCF, Inc.) is very excited to announce that they are offering a scholarship to fifty students. These students must be currently enrolled 10th and 11th graders for the academic year 2021-2022, who will be juniors and seniors for academic year 2022-2023.
Applications are now being accepted for the Emerging Stars Scholarship Essay Competition. The deadline to submit only the application, is Friday, May 6th.

3). The 2022 CGCS-Bernard Harris Scholarship Program is Now Open
The Council of the Great City Schools is partnering with Dr. Bernard Harris to offer the CGCS-Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarship Program for high school seniors who are majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)
Named after former astronaut, physician and businessman Bernard Harris, who was the first African American to walk in space, the scholarships are available to 2022 graduating seniors in urban school districts represented by the Council.
Four $5,000 scholarships for two males and two females each will be awarded to two African American and two Hispanic seniors pursuing studies in STEM-related fields in college next fall.
To apply for the 2022 scholarship, the application must be submitted online by May 6, 2022.

5). Exploring College Options (Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, and Stanford)
Exploring College Options is a special informational program sponsored by the undergraduate admissions offices of five of the country's leading universities: Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University.
Representatives from each university will present information about their institution, discuss the application process, and answer questions on how to put together a strong and reflective application.
6). Invitation to Stanford Alumni Get-to-Know-You Series
The Alumni Get-to-Know-You events are a series of virtual sessions in which Stanford alumni will discuss their successes, failures, highlights, and memories from their time at Stanford. Attendees will have the chance to hear about our campus community centers, diverse student body, and life after Stanford. The sessions will take place throughout the month of May.
The Alumni Get-to-Know-You events are open to students of ALL backgrounds, regardless of how they may identify. We especially encourage participants from historically underrepresented groups, including Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander American, LGBTQI+, and first-generation and/or low-income college students.
