IB at Paxon Wants YOU!!!
(Exclusive opportunity for current 9th grade students to be considered for transitioning to IB for the 2024-2025 school year.)

The IB Diploma programme at Paxon allows students to earn an internationally recognized education while also having the ability to earn college credit and scholarships. We would like to give the opportunity for students currently in the 9th grade at Paxon in the AP/Honors program to transition to the IB program of study. We are looking for students who are:

  • Interested in making global connections within their subjects

  • Self-motivated (this does not mean that they must be a straight 'A' student)

  • Interested in opportunities to maximize college credit that may be earned (IB students may take the comparable AP exam for their IB subject without having to take the AP course).

  • Interested in scholarship opportunities (IB students who earn their IB diploma and have 100 service or work hours automatically qualify for the top Bright Futures scholarship and do not need the required 1330 SAT/29 ACT score or Bright Futures GPA)

If you are interested in seeing whether you may qualify to transition to Paxon’s IB Diploma program of study for the 2024-2025 school year (or would like to nominate another student for this opportunity), please complete the form below by Fri., Feb. 2nd in order to receive more information about transitioning to IB at Paxon: https://forms.office.com/r/TB68m0xXk6
