Students are eligible to enter the Empowered Seal Scholarship Contest once they complete 3 digital lessons from EVERFI. These scholarships are exclusively available to students of Empowered Seal Districts.

USC Bovard Scholars wants to see you succeed!
The USC Bovard Scholars team has already begun reading applications from high school students from all across the country who want support in applying to and succeeding at top-tier colleges and universities in the U.S.! Join us on the USC campus this summer. I couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come for the seventh year of our program.
Applications are due January 13, 2023, at 5:00 pm PT.
We invite all high-achieving high school juniors with financial need to apply.
This year, the summer intensive portion of the program runs from July 10 through July 29, 2023. And remember, we offer the program at no cost to students or families. USC will pay for airfare to and from campus for students coming from outside of Southern California.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Equitable Excellence Scholarship
The Equitable Excellence Scholarship offers two different award options for students to earn:
A $5,000 annual scholarship that can be renewed each academic year for up to three years or until a bachelor's degree is obtained
One-time $2,500 scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: College Board's BigFuture Scholarship
College Board's BigFuture Scholarship allows the class of 2023 to earn entries in monthly drawings for $500 and $40,000 scholarships by completing steps that help them plan for college.
Every month, two $40,000 winners and hundreds of $500 winners who complete one or more steps are selected. College-going steps include practicing for the SAT, completing the FAFSA, and applying to colleges.
