Students apply for FREE at Coastal Georgia with waiver code COAST2023!

The College of Coastal Georgia is providing free applications through November! Learn more about Coastal Georgia and how to apply with the information below. FREE APPLICATION MONTH- NOVEMBER November is our FREE Application Month. Students can submit an application at no cost with our fee waiver code COAST2023. To apply, we encourage your students to visit www.ccga.edu/apply. Here is a social media graphic that you can use to place on your school's accounts. I am also linking a flyer for you to distribute at your school.

Yes, you read that right! The College of Coastal Georgia does not require SAT or ACT scores for the purpose of admissions. We are continuing to utilize the high school GPA in order to evaluate a student's application. Yes, we are a public institution and a member of the University System of Georgia. Mayo Clinic Laboratory Medicine Career Exploration Week - December 19 - 22 /Open to DCPS Juniors & Seniors

Our partners at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville are offering our high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to participate in a laboratory science career exploration week, December 19-22, 2022. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENT LEADERS ($10,000 per year renewable for up to 4 years)

Applications for the 2023 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program are open now through January 5, 2023.

This $10,000 renewable scholarship opportunity-- up to $40,000 per recipient-- is open to high school seniors nationwide who showcase leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Recipients also join the Reagan Academy network of exceptional students and young professionals who desire to lead, serve, and have a positive impact on their communities. Candidates can access eligibility requirements, past recipient insights, and applications online. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR JUNIORS (c/o 2024): Coolidge Scholarship

The 2022-23 Coolidge Scholarship application is now live. The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that may be used by recipients for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2024 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major. A complete description of the scholarship’s criteria is available here.


Please know that the application requires that candidates read President Coolidge’s Autobiography and complete a few other reading assignments. While the book is not overly long, we encourage students to begin the application early. Candidates who begin the application at the last minute are unlikely to be successful. The submission deadline is 5:00 PM eastern time, Thursday, February 23, 2023.
