SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: ITE Diversity Scholars Program

The ITE Diversity Scholars Program is open to any U.S. high school student or community college student planning to transfer to a 4-year university, who is of African-American; Native American, Alaskan, and Hawaiian; or Hispanic/Latino heritage with an interest in a career in transportation and seeking to study transportation engineering, planning, or in a related-field at a school with an established ITE Student Chapter.

The deadline for all applicants is 3/15/2023. All of the eligibility requirements and application information is available on www.ite.org/diversityscholar.



Paxon Financial Aid Night Presentation for Parents of Seniors - Now Posted on the Paxon School Counseling Website

If you missed the Financial Aid Night for parents of seniors that was held on Oct. 11th, the presentation has now been posted in the 'Parent Information' section of the Paxon School Counseling website.





SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: BU Scholarships for High-Achieving Students

Trustee Scholarship: Boston University's most prestigious full-tuition scholarship recognizes extraordinary academic performance and leadership ability. Students must submit one additional essay with their application for admission.


Presidential Scholarship: This four-year, $25,000 scholarship is awarded to students with exceptional academic achievements. No additional application materials are required—all students need to do to be considered is apply for admission by the scholarship deadline.


The application deadline for these scholarships is December 1, 2022.

COMMUNITY SERVICE/CAS OPPORTUNITY: CSX and Operation Gratitude-Holiday Care Package Assembly

The event is in partnership with CSX and Operation Gratitude. We’ll be assembling and packaging 10,000 care packages for our troops at the Jumbo Shrimp stadium. We need so many more volunteers! If you could pass this on to the students, that would be amazing.
