6). Introducing TOK/EE Transfer Credit at New College of Florida!
We are SO thrilled to tell you about our new IB transfer credit policy at New College of Florida!
As the state’s only designated public honors college, New College is a perfect fit for IB students, and we can’t wait to welcome more of them to our campus! We deeply value the IB core, and we now assign credit for grades A, B, and C on the IB diploma for TOK and EE.
So why should IB students choose New College? Because we provide a natural next step to the CAS and EE experiences through independent study projects, graduate-level research, internships, and the senior capstone project.
Every one of our students is assigned a professionally trained career coach, and we rank first in the country for public university graduates earning Ph.D.s (also first for Ph.D.s earned in STEM fields)! This year, New College ranked #4 in the country for National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships by per capita enrollment (behind Cal Tech, MIT, and Harvey Mudd).
And that’s just the beginning. Read our IB student stories and check out our IB events at ncf.edu/ib.
We can’t wait to show your students how New College will prepare them for lives of great achievement!
Sincerely,
Ann Masterman, Director of Admissions
Sonia Wu, Associate Dean of Enrollment Management
