Community Service/CAS Opportunity: Volunteering with MOSH

My name is Douglas, and I am the new Volunteer Coordinator at the Museum of Science & History in downtown Jacksonville. I wanted to let you know that we have reopened our teen volunteer application for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a great opportunity for high school students ages 14 and older to earn volunteer hours towards Bright Futures, develop skills in public speaking, and work towards earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

I wanted to share this opportunity with you as a school counselor because you have the connection with students and teachers to share this opportunity with them. We would love to have students from your school apply and volunteer with us. Volunteer position descriptions can be found in the application link, which is here:

Applications are open until October 26th at 4:00 pm. If you have any questions about our volunteer program, please either email me or call me at (904) 396-6674 x227 and I will gladly answer them.
